Allen, Faltt, Ballidis & Leslie has handled some of the largest cases of truck accidents in the County and State. Here are a few examples:

Truck causes temporary loss of vision in right eye of recent victim. Even though both drivers claimed that they had the green light, recovery of $250,000 was obtained and the client made a full recovery.

Truck caught a vehicle under the trailer saddle and drug it down the freeway 600 feet sideways before stopping. Injuries were relatively light considering the damage to the vehicle. The client received a $225,000 settlement.

Truck spilled gas from a hole in the diesel tank onto the 405 freeway causing a client’s collision with the center divider. The driver denied liability stating his truck was not the cause of the spill, and that he was unaware of any leak. At trial we proved it was his truck that had spilled gas and that he should have known about the leak given the volume of gas on the roadway, and his tank meter showing lower levels that should be monitored. Verdict was obtained and a settlement thereafter of $450,000.

Trash Truck ran over a pedestrian in the crosswalk causing extensive damages. This client went on to make a terrific recovery and received $3,200,000 in recovery.

Truck rear ended vehicle and driver claimed the client stopped suddenly. The firm proved otherwise and received a successful outcome of the case with a $125,000 settlement for a broken bone in leg.

Truck flat bed rig became detached in highway causing client’s vehicle to strike the rig head on. The defense argued that our client should have seen the rig and avoided it. The firm proved that the client could not take any evasive maneuvers without causing other injury and also that the low profile and curve in the road prevented him from seeing the rig. Two broken legs and pelvic fracture. Client made a great recovery and was awarded $2,300,000.

Allen, Flatt, Ballidis & Leslie has completed over 600 big rig and truck accident cases in California over the last 30 years and holds a stellar reputation for successful results in such cases. Call us for a free consultation at 1 888 752-7474 or Contact Us Page.
